Course Details

  • English 'Alimiyyah, 4-year program with a dedicated Dawra-e-Hadith in Year 4
  • Live online classes via Zoom, with an LMS for coursework & progress tracking
  • $100/semester (50% scholarship for subcontinent students; need-based aid available)
  • Three fully funded scholarship spots (merit & need-based)
  • Diverse electives each semester — Hayd Matters, Islamic Banking, Mental Health & Islam, Imam Ghazali, Islamic Spirituality, Prophetic Pedagogy & more
  • Faculty combine expertise in the Islamic sciences with qualifications across diverse modern disciplines

Semester 1 Courses

  • Qur'anic Studies — Tafsir, Tajweed & Hifz of the 30th Juz, with memorization support for its last quarter
  • Hadith Studies — selected ahadith from Zaad al-Talibeen, exploring meaning & practical application
  • Spiritual Development & Tazkiyah — purification of the heart, sincerity, ihsan & self-accountability
  • Fiqh — the five pillars, taharah, hayd, salah & fasting, based on Ascent to Felicity
  • Arabic Language — Sarf & Nahw foundations in morphology and syntax
  • Electives — Hayd Matters (fiqh of menstruation) & Mental Health in Islam
